NorthStar Academy Mission
Provide organized, age appropriate, high quality technical skills training of U8, U10 and U12 girls. Provide players and parents that choose to participate on NorthStar senior teams (U13 and older) with a stepping stone to do so. Provide a system to develop new NorthStar coaches and assistants.
Create an opportunity for senior NorthStar players to coach and mentor younger players as part of their own development.
NorthStar Academy Vision
We will increase the technical skills of all players that come to us and prepare them for higher quality play regardless of the venue in which they choose to use these skills. We will grow coaches within the NorthStar system and philosophy and increase the coaching skills of all who come to us. We will seek out and incorporate the best technical skills coaching concepts and techniques in order to continuously develop our coaching resources.
We will increase parents' knowledge of the technical and tactical demands of the game and re-define “success” within the NorthStar system and philosophy and ease the integration into NorthStar Senior Teams.
